Conduct of Examination
The patient is lying on an examination table. The area to explore should be undressed in order to spread a gel therein to facilitate the passage of ultrasound (this gel does not stain clothes; it is odorless and easily cleaned with paper).
The exam lasts 10 to 20 minutes depending on its complexity.

Technology
The system is based on the use of ultrasound emitting and receiving probes.
Depending on their composition, the analyzed structures are a more or less important part of the ultrasound spindle allowing to be characterize them by creating an image on the screen of the device.
